After months of planning, we’re excited to announce a new partnership for the new year.
We’re joining forces with the Old-Lands estate to support their incredible decades-long journey to restore the species-rich grasslands of their 200 acre ecological haven near Monmouth. We’ll be providing cattle and grassland management for the benefit of priority fauna, flora and fungi, guided by the expert knowledge of resident ecologist Sam Bosanquet (who you may have recently seen speak at the Oxford Real Farming Conference).
We’ll be working up a specific plan for each field, which will include seed harvesting, hay making and grazing by our traditional breed cattle, and monitoring and recording will be a key part of the project, to assess the impact of a variety of approaches.
