Services
We offer conservation grazing to improve the biodiversity of traditional grasslands, wildflower meadows, peatlands, and heathlands. We work within the requirements of environmental funding and subsidy schemes, to support landowners and land managers fulfill their environmental scheme agreements. We offer the following services:
- Conservation grazing by traditional native breed cattle and goats, using NoFence geocollars.
- Additional grazing by Shetland sheep (suitable for fully fenced areas).
- Monitoring surveys to assess the changes to the habitat.
- Additional mechanical scrub clearance/bracken bashing to complement our hoof-powered work.
- Training packages for volunteer livestock checkers (in partnership with the Rare Breeds Survival Trust).
- Provision of mobile handling and water facilities where fixed facilities are not available on site.
